HOW TO GET THERE:
Walking: You can walk into the gardens from:
• The Parliament House entrance (George Street)
•Alice Street, at the intersection of Edward Street, and at the Albert Street intersection
•The Goodwill Bridge
10 to 15 minute walk from the city centre and Central or Roma Street railway stations. If you're going to walk or cycle there, see the suggested walking and cycling routes.
Pubic Transport
Catch a bus or ferry to the gardens. The free Loop bus stops on Alice Street and George Street. City Cat and City Ferry terminals are located at the bottom end of Edward Street and at the rear of Parliament House.
Car parking is available 24 hours at Festival Secure Park, 53 Charlotte Street. Casual parking after 4.00pm is $11.00.
Disabled access is available at each gate, except the Parliament House entrance. Disabled car parking is available just inside the Edward Street gate and behind the Garden Café (entry via Gardens Point Road).
Food & Beverage
Helga’s gourmet sandwich packs will be available for the first 300 patrons who register. Grinders coffee and a range of cakes will be available for sale or bring a picnic and enjoy dining outdoors before the movie.
In Sydney, the Helga’s European Film Festival will be held at St Leonard's Park. A well-maintained family environment that provides a little relaxation and recuperation under the cover of magnificent trees.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Car parking
There is ample street parking on Miller Street. Alternatively, there are 196 car spaces at the Ridge Street Car Park on St James Place off Ridge Street (between Miller and West Streets). The Car Park is approximately 200m walk and operates 24 hours a day. The cost of parking is a flat rate of $4.00 after 6.30pm Monday to Friday and is free on weekends. Payment is by coins or credit card at the car park ticketing machine.
Public Transport
St Leonards Park is accessible by train and bus. The closest train station is North Sydney which is a 10-15 minute walk down Miller Street. In Melbourne, the Helga’s European Film Festival will be held at the Astor Theatre. This theatre built in the 1930’s reflects all the “old-world” and art deco charm of that period. So settle back and enjoy the cinema experience of the 30’s.

HOW TO GET THERE:
Car parking is usually available along Chapel Street on the side of the road opposite the theatre. Out of consideration for the theatre’s neighbours, please do not park in the side streets near to The Astor. There is also a car park with 260 spaces off Chapel Street across the Dandenong Road intersection from The Astor (note a parking fee is required there day and night).
Public Transport
The Richmond/Brighton tram runs along Chapel Street and the City/Caulfield tram runs along Dandenong Road. The City/Sandringham train stops at Windsor station which is within easy walking-distance of the theatre.
